Is this normal? Like it’s not coughing from a cold. More like coughing from something feel stuck in his thought and then he throws up. And then is totally fine.

I had it with my son, he eventually outgrew it. We’d be careful not to give him things that were harder to chew.

Sounds like a good ol' gag reflex. No, it's not normal to choke/throw up frequently. What did your pediatrician say?

I know someone who had this was acid reflux. Once he went on medication it was better.

Can be caused by acid reflux, enlarged tonsils, or just not chewing his food well enough and swallowing pieces that are too big for him to safely swallow. Talk to your pediatrician about it.

Okay I’m pretty sure he has acid reflux. I’m going to make him an appointment at the gi. There may be a long wait though, does anyone have any advice how to make him more comfortable in the meantime?
