I'm looking for a place I can go with my dh for a full day trip in the mountains- can be closer to the middletown,port jervis area or further upstate.

we would love to do water sports- jet ski... and rent bikes.
we do NOT want it to be a crowded yid'locked place- I.e. white lake - as we enjoy our privacy.

Any ideas?

u need a license for jet skis in NY. and sorry but anywhere in the catskills at this time of year will have jews Confused

Whats the problem w/ spending a day in a place that has jews too? The catskills are full wherever you go...

im not exactly sure about the details on the license thing. my husband told me that he used to go jetskiing but now u need a jetski license I think, b/c there were lots of accidents or something. im not totally sure tho.

I didnt mean to say u dont like jews, but they're all in the catskills right now so it will hard to find a place that wont have 'em.

thanks for the tip about licenses- I'll find out about that.

About Jews in the Catskill- notice I said I'm looking for someplace either further upstate or in the port jervis area- I'm willing to travel out a little not to be in a crowded place.
I think its undestandable that when im spending private time with dh I'm not interested in meeting the world.

yes, but your probably not the only one with that idea. how about go somewhere thats not in the mountains? I think ur more likely to have private time somewhere else.

I'm hoping that this early on it shouldnt be so problematic- I'm also going on a weekday not weekend..
I need to base in the mountains so that I have babysitting
