I thought I saw a post about it somewhere, and I think that’s what it’s called, but I’m not sure! I think it was frying pastrami with brown sugar? Thank you!😊

I am not sure how good the end result would be. It is obviously a kosher version of Candied Bacon which is trendy as an appetizer among non kosher because bacon is such a passion for some people.
However bacon is savory and crisp and so the sweet coating on the crisp bacon strips seems more appealing than to just add sweetness to pastrami which generally is salty/savory in the same way. I would think a kosher version of bacon would be a better choice.
Pastrami isn't generally crisp nor can you slice it to the thinness of bacon or facon
