Looking for tried clips for toddlers boys that stay in the hair and can hold thick hair well .
I use pony holders now but he hates when I put them on and pull them out, I'd rather skip the fight.

if he cant deal with ponies he wont be able to handle clips pony is definitely less annoying

Why? He doesn't like when I pull his hair, it's uncomfortable when you pull the pony holder out. And he doesn't have the patience when I put it in it takes longer to tie around a pony holder than insert a clip.

Walmart has a pack of 20 for $2. I buy and replace often lol
(I got the sparkly colorful ones for my dd, you can get a pack of all black in the store)
She has very fine, thin hair so it worked to keep it out if her face

Hack: A tiny drop of lemon essential oil on the rubber gets it to pop so no pulling.
Clips fall out.
