All my phone photos are automatically backed up to google photos.
I want to back them up to somewhere else now.
What is the best way to do that?
its a LOT of pictures. I want to store them in a cloud with another safe software

Following. I wonder if it's at all possible to do that all at once without having to go through all the photos.
I would suggest you back them up straight from the original source. It would have the original quality and it would be easier to select large quantities at once. That's one think I dislike about Google photos that you cannot select all.

You can download them then reupload them. Google divides it in a million folders, a few pictures per year. You have to download then click each link and say you want the full size one. They then take a few hours to send you the new links.

Go to settings (https://photos.google.com/settings) and select "Export your data" where you can "Make a copy of your photos & videos, which you can use with a service outside of Google, or keep as an additional backup"
