Are monsey condominiums mostly chassidish? Any affordable nice rentals in a nice mixed neighborhood for non chasidish fam?
I’ve been looking into monsey but I’ve been told it’s mostly chassidish these days. Will we be an outcast?

Also, are there any nice and affordable rentals in or around monsey in a frum neighborhood? Doesn’t have to be a condo.

Rent (and sales) prices are through the roof.
I think the Oak glen development is mixed.
Kiryas Radin developed is totally non chassidish.

Where are you coming from and what type of crowd are you looking for?
Very hard for us to know if you fit in without details.
Monsey is not all chassidish.

You were told that Monsey is Chassidish? Or condos are Chassidish?
Monsey is a huge mix. Some areas are predominantly Chassidish and some areas are totally not Chassidish.

So what are the non chassidish areas?
Idk I have some family in monsey they told me it’s become mostly chassidish and they are prob going to move because they don’t fit in anymore.
But they’re MO so maybe it’s the MO community that is slowly moving out.

Real main Monsey has become basically chassidish. But other areas are a real mix with some areas being totally not chassidish.

I live in Wesley Hills. There are two chassidish families in my neighborhood among dozens of non chassidish. So no, all of Monsey is definitely not chassidish

Not really. That element has really been getting much smaller in the greater monsey area.
Unless you mean just not so frum, plenty of people like that in Pomona
