Time for a new mixer. I use it mostly for challah but also for occasional baking. Is the nutrimill as good as the Bosch? Or close enough to it? $$ what about a kitchen aid, can it handle a 5lb bag of flour easily?

MagicMill makes a great challah but is a pain to clean. I had one for many years and eventually replaced it with a Bosch and love it. I also love a KitchenAid but it isn’t large enough for a 5 lb dough

I have a kitchenaid, it can't handle 5lb of flour, I mix it first by hand then knead it in batches in the mixer

Maybe some models? Mine definitely held over 5 lbs.

I have the kitchen aid for baking cookies and cakes.. the Bosch for challahs and breads.. and the magic mill I don’t own.. the kitchen aid isn’t meant for challahs- the company had told me when I first got it and the Bosch plastic bowl is meant for challahs and breads- I spoke to the repairman last week from Bosch and that’s what he mentioned..
Hatzlocha and happy baking 🥰😍
