My kids are the ages listed above they like some of the shorter money games. But my husband doesn't let them play on shabbos. With a long 2 day Yom tov coming up. I need some board and card game ideas. Not speed games. It can't be too long because they lose patience. It should be a little challenging, make you use your brain and not be only luck, could work for kids 9-12.
My 9 year old also loves cover your assets, rummy and phases 10. The older are looking for a change

I'm very Intrested in splendor Sounds good for my kids age. What are the pictures of? Are there any non appropriate pictures? A picture of a church? The coins are all gems correct?

It depends how many players you have. Probably about 45 minutes.

They aren't really coins - more like colorful plastic tokens. We do not play money games on Shabbos either and are totally fine with Splendor.

I'll look at the pictures more closely when I get home. I don't remember any churches specifically. but things like ships and fields. There are some nobleman and women, but since they are supposed to be from the Victorian era they are tznius.
