Someone in my neighborhood runs an art studio for kids of all ages including older teens she charges $120 for 6 weeks. I cant imagine an adult class being much different in price. Classes are an hour.

How big is the class? What level is the class? Is there a set curriculum?

Is the instructor a high level artist, and can she take a mediocre artist to the next level? Is this basic technique or more like art school?
A "for fun" type class with basic skills should be around $20 for a group class, but a more advanced class can charge more.

This. Also depends on location because of local norms. I'd expect to pay more in NYC than elsewhere, for example, just because that's the way things are.
