I'd go back to the doctor. Sounds serious.

Apply hydrogen peroxide with a cotton ball on each pimple every night after the bath.

My children all had/have it.
It was not worth treating because there are so many. If it were on the face, I would consider treating but otherwise I just let it run it's course.
They looked horrible but was on mostly covered parts of the body so most people didn't even notice.

Now DS's went away but he is left with horrible purple scars on each pimple. I hope those clear up soon because it looks scary.

My dr. recommended compound w.
He said to put it on one or two with Vaseline around it because it will get red and sensitive.
He said any times if you get rid of one the rest will follow.
I haven't tried it since they went away on their own.

Go and see a dermatologist asap. My 4 year old had molluscum all over her back and behind her legs and it was causing a lot of eczema to break out as well. The doctor kept on saying it would go away on its own. after a year and a half of it persisting and not improving, I realized I had to speak to a dermatologist, which was counter to what the pediatrician said. The dermatologist that I saw did not freeze them off but rather applied some kind of acidic ointment to each bump which had to sit for up to 2 hours before being washed off. We repeated this treatment about two or three times over the course of a couple of months. The ointment she applied caused the location of the molluscum to flare up, which reactivated her immune system to fight the viral infection, which is the source of the molluscum. She is now molluscum free bH and has had no recurring bumps on her body. There is some discoloration in the areas where there was molluscum but I think that has more to do with them becoming irritated and bleeding at times. I am so happy I spoke to a dermatologist when things were not improving instead of relying on the pediatrician telling me it would go away with time. I don't recommend apple cider vinegar or home remedies.

Is that the beetle ointment- cantharasin? Our pediatrician applied that to my sons molloscum recently. It works really great!

My pediatrician (Diamonds office) applied a special cream one time in office, it caused them to blow up and blister for a week until it disappeared. For now my child still has discoloration/ scarring on the area but it should fade over time. (This was right before Pesach)

It probably was, I don't remember the name. I'm upset that I let it go on for so long before seeking out a dermatologist to deal with it. It was super easy and pain free!
