I've noticed that the walls and doors could do with being cleaned, but to stand there for hours with a cloth or wipes sounds much too hard. Any shortcuts or clever hacks?

Use a cleaning spray and a scrub daddy sponge. Have a microfiber cloth nearby to wipe it clean.
For more aggressive spots, you can use the pink stuff

I mop my walls and doors with a clean mop head. Dirt comes right off easily.

Agree. Does everyone have a problem with them crumbling though?

It’s very satisfying to mop walls. Not saying how I know 😁

Beware magic eraser. We've already had people post elsewhere that Magic Eraser stripped the paint right off the walls.

I’ve seen it wipe the paint off. If it’s semi gloss or glossy paint, I spray an all purpose cleaner and wipe it with a microfiber cloth. Let the spray sit a bit first.

There's a huge difference if your walls are gloss/semi-gloss or if they're flat/matt.
Glossy walls wash so easily, you could use anything, mop, shmatte, any soap...
Flat paint is such a pain, and magic eraser is the only thing that works, especially for scuff marks,
I know flat paint is supposed to be more 'classy', but I hate it!

You mean clean as in new or just clean from mopping floors?
If the latter, then it's so unhygienic. It must be new if using it for walls.
There are different levels of dirt surfaces

It really depends what type of paint you have.
We have a washable paint which means it’s easy to wash off dirt without paint coming off.
I find that using plain warm water on a rag will get off dirt on the walls and doors…

Eww why would I say it's a clean mop head if I just mopped the floors with it? I use an ocedar mop with washable mop heads. It's not new as strait from the store but definitely clean.

I got a wall mop on Amazon. It’s awesome and I’m very proud of my purchase lol. I can link it later if you’d like

Oooh I like the sound of that. How's it different to just using a regular mop?
My paint is officially washable but I think that was code for picks up more dirt than regular paint. I was told after that there's different levels of washable and I think we didn't do the right one. I don't have the strength to use a cloth or magic eraser to scrub multiple doors and sections of wall. I like the idea of using our mop.

I really just a wet rag and it comes right off…
Maybe it’s the paint that makes mine easy?
Try first before you buy a whole contraption for washing walls-

I tried this, its not for me lol. You need a lot of stamina and energy to stand there mopping walls.
I plan to get a cleaning lady once a year to do it.
