My toddler would love to fall asleep listening to music on Spotify, uncle moishy and Elmo.
How can I play it in their room while being able to use my phone myself at the same time?

You can put a wireless speaker in your child's room and still be able to use your phone but you will not be able to use it for any audio. You could go on other sites and do other things while the music is playing in the toddlers room

That’s fine.
What’s a good wireless speaker? Safe?

Either you can go the Google home mini route or you can get a Bluetooth speaker.
We use a speaker made for runners that's pretty durable

You can use any Bluetooth speaker. But you will not be able to do anything on your phone that generates sound or that sound will override the music and be broadcasted on the speakers in your sons room
