I was very disappointed that he went to the police. Back when they were in Russia and were being followed Nava said something like Ok, let's tell the security guard and Dov said, oh only little kids do that, he's not going to believe us.
So it was totally not consistent for him to think the cops would believe him when everyone else except Nava thinks he's a lying nutcase. If Nava had suggested they go to the cops what do you think he would have said? "Are you crazy? They'll never believe us! Let's think this through a little more."
(and no, my kids don't get as worked up about this as I do.)

Wow! I had forgotten that....
I wish I saved all these issues to read from the beginning again.
Probably will publish in a book. But I'll have to pay...

Dov ends up strapped to a bed in a mental hospital. He tries pleading the truth to all staff members but they all say he's suffering from an illness that makes him see things which aren't really there. They give him pills which he spits out. And he is plotting his escape to rescue Nava from the imposters.

Either Nava escaped and they have no clue she's in on this. Or if she was there maybe they told her Dov is suffering from a mental illness.

They pretty much said, "Nice sister you got there, shame if something happened to her."
Nava already said she believed Dov and remembers her real mother, so it's hard to accept that she's as ditzy as the imparents think she is. Maybe she's doing something behind the scenes to help Dov.

It's scaring me too but in kind of a delicious way because I know that since it's a kids comic they'll somehow have a "good guys win" resolution.
But definitely going to extreme places!!

I don't know. The latest turn of him starting to believe he's actually crazy freaks me out.
Even if it's a made up comic and even though I know that it will all be good eventually...
