Anyone know?

Where can I go with my 4 boys in NJ where they'll have a great time? I have a 5 yr old, just about 3 yr old, 20 month old going on 3 yrs, and 21 day old, KAH.

A kiddie amusement park? A really neat children's museum? Something like that. Something worth going to, not something that will break the bank, and nowhere near the boardwalk so we can try to avoid half-dressed people in this heat.

Thanks a bunch.

There are a lot of great places in new jersey. Near Lakewood theres a zoo called the popcorn zoo where you can feed the lions and bears peanuts and popcorn. There are a few good things around there. If you want addresses then you can pm me.

depending on where you are in NJ makes a big difference!-
If you are in/near lakewood- keep in mind that philadelphia is only about 1 and 15 min away: philadelphia zoo, franklin institute, please touch museum.
Also about an hour away from lakewood is camden- where there is an awesome aquarium where there is a tunel of sharks which you can walk through. Next door to the aquarium is a great park/gardens area for kids with climbing things etc.
In Cherry Hill there is a childrens museum, also another in northern NJ- NJ childrens museum.
They might be a little young for the liberty science center.
A little further is Lancaster- Hershey park, amish town etc.
Also Sesame Place
Down south- Cape May- cape may zoo, boating- wale watching
there is much more of course!

We would be coming back up the 95 to NYC. The Lakewood area sounds okay, but I don't want to venture into PA near Philly or the Lancaster area since we need to keep focused on getting back home.Smile

What's that popcorn zoo, flowerpower? That sounds good.

Thanks for that Imagine That link, yo'ma.

I'll check out that aquarium too, jemappelle. Thanks.

Wild West City - my parents took my nephews there and said it was the exact same way it was 30 years ago when they used to take me! I think its in Netcong.

Has anyone been to Insectropolis yet? I have not but I heard it was a lot of fun for kids. Toms River is very close to Lakewood.
