Yes, I have one. Very practical for carpools, car rentals, taxis etc. I'll try to remember where I ordered it from.

It sounds familiar, I definately remember hearing of such a car seat, but it was YEARS ago. did you do a google search?

I found this link http://www.safebeginnings.com/.....d=759 , but its expensive, I would also check to see how safe they are.

I googled it. The only one I found was safebeginning.com.

It's way too expensive. I'm looking for something cheaper.

I think the answer is no. but go to www.windsorpeak.com & ask on the baby bargains message boards. they know everything about baby products there.

that is for 3 years and up (30-100 lbs). not precisely a car seat.

I have a sunshine kids radian. It does fold, but it is heavy. It would be great if someone is picking you up, or you are taking a taxi to a friend's house, but it is not practical if you are going to be running errands or walking around the mall. It rear faces and forward faces and it works from kids 5 - 65 lbs (get the 65 lb. one, the only difference with the 80 one is the weight limit and unless your child is very heavy they will outgrow by height first)
