I never thought that moving to cali it would be harder to find kosher healthy?!?! I thought it would be easier!
where do I start?? I have yet to move into my own home yet, so it has to be simple etc...

what do you mean exactly? you can find kosher and healthy foods practically anywhere. for example, whole wheat flour, organic fruits/veggies, etc...are you looking for something in particular?

Organic fruits and veggies are not always the best. They can contain certain fungi that can make you very sick in the long term.

I'm also confused. I'm assuming that it's possible to buy veggies, fruits, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat flour, etc.

MM, are you kidding? there's Whole Foods, there was an organic/health food store on Beverly Blvd. there are tons and tons of stores that carry natural products!

guess where we went walking... there was not much
I was shocked that there was no whole wheat bagels at the bakery
Then when we ate out there was only white rice not brown..
IY"H eventually I will understand..

Restaurant food is never healthy anyways. . . it's really not going to make a big difference if you get brown rice instead of white. I'd also love to know how much whole wheat they actually put into bagels. . . probably not much.

The Whole Foods at Third Street and Fairfax has a lot of kosher food.
There are Trader Joe's all over the place (including one on La Brea).
