Is there a class in or around the Kensigton area of Brooklyn? A friend is looking for a class or even a group of women who get together to do something fun with the baby.

I dont believe there is anything in this neighborhood. the closest you'll get is baby/toddler time at the ditmas library once a week, but that is a bit shvach.

I have a 7 months old and a 3,7 year old at home for August.

I just realized there is some sort of a mommy and me class going on in Kid's in Action but I know nothing about, I'm not even sure it's Jewish.

The toddler time at the Ryder library branch is really nice, it's at 11 and at 1 on Wednesdays. Many frum poeple go there.

What do they consider a toddler?

not sure, but I think it starts at 18 months. There's an old (frum, by the way) Bubby that sings songs/does fingerplays, etc., and a man who plays guitar. They read books, sing, play instruments, and let the kids play with some toys at the end. And it's free :-) You can check their website... You also get a free book every third week you go...
