LOL! My dh once wrote to his kid sister in camp "it's lovely here without you." (he was a teenager at the time.) She thought he wrote "it's lonely here without you"! fortunately before she sent back a mushy reply, she reread the postcard.
anyone ever misread other things that are funny when misread? My coworker once read a mystery in which a character carried around a rabbit's foot. she read it as "rabbi's foot" and couldn't imagine why anyone would do that.

While on a family outing, I was so tired that I misread a traffic sign: "only sleep CAUSES fatigue!" I think causes was meant to be cures!
