At work don't have a lunch break... I work for 6 hours a day from 9:40-3:40 so it doesn't make sense to have a lunch break. So I usually eat a big breakfast/lunch in my car on the way to work....like bagels and cream cheese or bagels and tuna. But I'm so tired of bagels and cream cheese and there's only so much tuna you can have a week. What else is good to eat in the car while you drive?

thanks for the ideas, but how can I eat hot cereal while driving? I used to eat cold cereal all the time while driving to school. I'm not sure that eating a lot of cereal around 9 will tie me over until 4.

If you must eat in the car, then you can make it healthy too. Potato knishes are good, but they don't have much nutritive value. Cheese strings, pita with cheese, veggies cut up, little plums, etc. I don't know what kind of work you do, but would it not be worth it to take a 20 minute break and eat a proper lunch,e ven if you have to work 20 min longer. Much healthier.

I make a batch of whole wheat banana walnut muffins and they tide me over for a while. I take them when I go out on errands and eat them in the car. That with cut up fruit and veggies, cheese and crackers, etc. I store them in the freezer and take out as needed. Instead of hot cereal, you can eat granola bars, homemade are great and healthier.

Garden Gourmet makes really good veggie burgers. find them in the freezer section, u just have to microwave them for 2-1/2 min.

Yogurt shakes are good too. And cereal in a bag.
