Can anybody suggest a good vacation get away for a few days, and possibly on Shabbos?

The Homowack in the Catskills. There are other Kosher hotels up there but I can't remember the names. There's also something up in Lake George but I'm not sure if that's only in the summer or not. also, Shabbos Chanukah there is a family Shabbos in NJ (Somerset I think). the ad was in the Jewish press this week.

I don't think it's nice to get into details, but I would not consider the Homowack much of a vacation.

There's a lovely place called "golden acres" upstate NY. Not a "frum" atmosphere but kosher food. frum people go there and they have minyanim. lots of activities for kids. not inexpensive, though.
