I just moved to a new apartment, I cleaned the oven and stove top.
Whenever I bake, I think I smell poop (or something weird)! At first I thought maybe my chicken had gone bad, but I smelled the chicken and then smelled inside the oven - everything is normal!!
Today I was cooking on the stove top and baking and I STILL smelled it! This is not my first time using this oven, I dont know what to do.
Where could the smell be coming from?
We have no bugs, no mice (pu pu pu!) BH.

what in the world could it be??!???

If you just moved in, how do you know there isn't a mouse under the stove?

I am familiar with the mystery of weird smells...
We had a smell like that for a while...
You should check out ur plumbing system. Like under the sink... or if you have any draining holes...
like in Israel...
Sometimes... the drain has a reflex and it reeks...
Good luck!
I hate bad smells! It is my petpeeve. And in my old apartment, every time I came home- it stunk.
from the sewers...
(there was no air circulation)
or it would cook my garbage during the day.

Could you have a gas leak in the oven?

Sorry I had to chuckle at your post, and the quote above didn't help with the chuckling.

oddly enough, sometimes a rotting object smells stronger far away from itself than if you put your nose right on top of it. look for a damp rag, mop or sponge getting rancid, or a container that held milk and wasn't cleaned well enough.

What is the oven next to, meaning what is possibly heating up so that it emits the smell?
Did you check the pan under the fridge, if there is one?
