Anyone in the NY/NJ area who is looking to entertain their kids on vacation should try a Children's Tour of the Lower East Side given by "LoVer East Side". A LoVer East Side Tour is really an eye opening experience, the kids learn about the neighborhood's Jewish Life, past and present, and the captivating tour guide really makes history come alive. Whether you have East Side roots or not, it is definitely something you should try.

It's run by frum people.

They have tours of the Lower East Side, NYC every Sunday for adults, as well as a special tour for children geared towards ages 9 and up. Kids really enjoy themselves, it's fabulous.

They also offer special tours on vacation days such as Chanukah, and mid winter vacation.
