does anyone have a good recommendation for maternity opaque tights that are BLACK? the berkshire ones that they sell here in israel are more gray than black. I want a dark solid black pair. thanks.

I don't know if they sell them in Israel but there is a brand called MeMoi, that makes BLACK opaque maternity tights that are so comfortable. maybe if you have family in the US they can get/order and mail it to you.

The lady in the stocking store told me that Berkshire does not hold its color.

I agree either MeMoi (I think thats what its called and I'm just going with the spelling of amohter above).

Motherhood Maternity also makes great black stockings that have lasted me through 2 pregnancies but I don't know if you can get it in Israel.

I wouldn't normally but, I was discussing with others recently that I found these really comfy tights, etc and I am expecting but have yet to mention on this site, so just incase someone could figure it out (don't know if those who I spoke to about these tights are even on this site, but just in case). Sorry, now that I think of it , it sounds silly to do as amother.

Ok, so I used Berkshire opaque black tights - with my last preg. I actually bought them from someone's apt. in Ezras Torah. They are still as black as when I got them. Maybe they were dusty? I have never had a problem with Berkshire maternity tights - I totally recommend them. I just wish I knew where my old tights were....

I find that you can approximate the look of tights with black socks tucked into black leggings. Black leggings are usually very dark and opaque. Could you find a pait in maternity maybe?
