I have this bottle of "ready to feed" (meaning no water has to be added) Similac Isomil ADVANCE Soy Formula with Iron.... on which the lable says- "use within 72 hours of opening"
Can it last longer or is it too risky to use?
(it has been in the fridge since someone by mistake opened bottle on motzai shabbos)
Thanks in advance for your help

When in doubt, throw it out!!!
but the truth is that now is just about 72 hours from Motzei Shabbos so use it really fast. I don't think 73 hours is such a big deal...

it's a big bottle and I'd only need 4-5 ounces from it a day.......... I'm wondering if that is a strict 72 hours, or could it last for wed, thurs. and then into next wk?

why don't you call the company? they'll know best (if they're honest and just don't want to avoid a lawsuit).

no it is really means ready to feed 72 hrs. that why in your sitoation get powder it last really long for 3 or 4 months. and parents who only need one feed a day it stretches really well
that what all my babysitting ladies bring to me
