My SILs and I are making a sheva brachos for my BIL iyh. I am, as they say, "culinary challanged" and have a hard time preparing presentable foodstuffs. My SILs want it to be a fancy affair, and asked me what I can contribute. any suggestions??? I need tasty and presentable ideas that are EASY!

If they want fancy, and you like simple, offer to make the soup. A good soup doesn't have to be super fancy, just good and tasty Smile

I backed out of doing soup after they said they want to do it two-tone. (two creamy soups, and you pour it into the bowl at the same time...) I guarantee I'll mess up on that. although I guess I can cook it and have them prepare the portions.

I'll suggest the mousse dessert to them. I like that idea cuz it does look great and I think I can swing it. ambrosia also sounds good.

thanx!!
