Just buy the osem mix (only osem is good) and
the trick is to make sure the oil is very hot. Make one ball and if it breaks apart the oil is not hot enough yet.

mompete I tried that one and well it didn't work out. the osem packages my husband didn't like them. I will try the one with the link and see how it comes out. thanks.

I just buy frozen falaffel balls & put them in my toaster oven & they are nice & crunchy on the outside like when they are from a pizza store. I don't know if you can't buy them everywhere though.
