Yeah, my son was born with an ear tag on his tragus. The day after he was born the doctor removed it (he clamped the tag and cut it off. There was a tiny drop of blood and that was it).
We were told it COULD be a marker for kidney issues so we had to take him for an ultrasound at 3 months old. Baruch Hashem it was fine and the doctor said if nothing is flagged in that first ultrasound, then there's nothing to worry about.
