For my daughters birthday party, I'm making cheese kreplach, salad and soup besides cake. I want one more side dish but can't think of what. Any ideas?

make mini pizzas, I dont know where you live but in brooklyn they sell mini round dough circles frozen that can be used for pizza. or you can buy betty crocker pizza mix and make little pizzas, kids will prob love it

The age might make a difference, also, are you having any adults, but what about a cold vegetable dish, like a big green salad? That's always popular.
Or fries? Another hit!

don't know the kids ages, but how about kishies, can make in 9"pie shells, or in mini pie shells.

How about mini sandwiches that kids love like peanut butter and jelly or grilled cheese or tuna, just cut them out with a fun shaped cookie cutter. Also, The Pampered Chef makes a round cutter that cuts the sandwich and seals it into a little pocket.

should have put in more details sorry (hard to add extras with a screaming baby in one hand and a toddler on my back!)
the party is for adults, it's my daughters 2nd birthday.

Dont know how this would go down- nice sweet butternut kugel , using vanilla soya milk or vanilla essence for that cakey taste. Cut into very small squares- the color is usualy nice and bright.
