Some of you are probably jealous just by looking at the title of this thread.
Is this any reason to worry?
My baby fell asleep before 1 in the morning and since then only woke up at 6:30am to eat & fell right back asleep, & then at 11:30am for about 1 1/2 hours. It's 5pm and he's still sleeping.
Just wondering what this means (besides that it's gonna be a loooong night tonight).

Well he just woke up. But I'm still wondering. He never sleeps like that.

suomynona, is your baby acting as usual while he is up? does he seem alert? or lethargic? cranky or happy?

He's about 2 1/2 months old.
He's acting completely normal when he's awake.
btw, he just woke up

That's a good sign then . Keep watching him for any different behaviour than usual. Hopefully he just got his hours mixed up.

usually when my babies slept-which was almost never at that age unforchanitly for me,
it ment they were under the weather or having a growth spurt. it always helps to ckeck things out.
just a quick question? don't babies uner 3 months sleep alot more during the day? if so why worry?

Sleeping a lot can be coming down with something, a growth spurt or rainy weather. Just keep an eye on him.
