I think that's in pretty poor taste; at the very least, make sure you know your audience.

I would not be impressed with such a comment in my shaloch manos.

I agree as well. Not cute at all.

What are we so uptight about? Unless you consider being black an insult??

I did chocolate dipped spoons (for stirring coffee) one year. I took some plastic spoons, dipped some each in white, milk, and dark chocolate, let them dry, and then drizzled/piped the contrasting colored chocolate on. They looked beautiful! (I originally planned to buy cheap metal spoons, but time got away from me.)

I also did hot chocolate, coffee beans, creamer, chocolate covered espresso beans/yogurt covered raisings, and black and white cookies.

I think it's rude to comment on someone's race for no reason other than to make a joke.

They have right now very nice black and white containers in Amazing Savings. You could use black and white tissue paper.

You could definitely get black and white jelly beans. Black licorice.

You could make your own chocolates with chocolate molds and either do separate dark chocolate and white chocolate, or combine the two.

Some of the mini liquor bottles are white - like malibu.

Mixture of peanuts and raisins.

when I was a little kid I dressed up as a die once (you know, a single from a pair of dice). my father took a box and cut out a hole for my head, covered the box in white paper, and made big dots on it with permanent marker. it was a very cute (and inexpensive!) costume.
