Help, please! I have 20 pounds of white rice using up all of my valuable storage containers and space. Anybody know recipes, preferably freezable, that call for A LOT of rice?
I think I'm willing to be creative...

Just about anything indian or Chinese is good on a bed of rice. Curried chicken in spice & spirit cookbook, for one.

Give it to a preschool. It's great for sensory. I once taught a kid who needed OT. The therapist suggested we get a huge container &* fill it with rice. Like a sand table. The kids LOVED it.

DO NOT GIVE IT TO YOUR KIDS TO PLAY WITH!
(outside may be OK)
Yes, it may be good for sensory - my kids had a blast with it for an hour but dh and the vacuum had a blast for 2 hours! We were finding rice months later in the weirdest places.

Just freeze it uncooked in small bags - you don't even have to cook it first, just take it out as you need it.

the rice kugel recipe in spice and spirit cookbook is fantastic, and it freezes really well.
Maybe your bikur cholim could use it?
