Not quite a poll but please feel free to name your/your family's old favourite.

bimuelos
fritters (apple)
fritters (pine nuts, candied peels)
jalebi
atayf
bondas (or whatever you call those indian fried balls with cashews inside)
gulab jamun (does anyone have a recipe?)
