In a spinoff from the other post that asked what do they not have in israel that you can bring from the states, let ne ask the reverse question: what do you usually bring from israel to the states that they don't have in America?

I usually get the shiny scarves.

Cute souvenirs, silver (it's much cheaper) Naots, leather ware, jewelry, Judaica, clothes, all sorts of stuff. And we bought 2 Ben Avraham paintings which were shipped. We spend a lot when we go, it's so much fun buying gifts.

I am not going back to america any time soon, but these are things that were brought in the past-
silver and leather gifts, like tzedaka boxes or whatever. On meah shearim there are a bunk of great cheap wedding and bar mitzva gifts.
Sfarim are MUCH cheaper here.
I remember people bringing back doritos and cheetos and mentos and other noshes that are kosher in israel but arent in chutz laaretz.

As I was just there, I brought back lots of wash cups for al netilas yadayim. They had beautiful ones that caught my eye, that everyone can always use as a gift. They are made of lucite and have flowers or other designs. About $25. each. I also buy the loose candy for my kids, and the apricot leder made from real apricots. (Like fruit leather only a huge thick sheet, can be bought in Geula, delicious for apricot lovers). Also fresh sunflower seeds by the bushel, and various candy bars that we dont have in the USA. I also bought fake jewelry and watches very cheap and they gave free batteries with every watch! I picked up an amazing pair of slippers for $7. and they were very comfortable. There are lots of great buys, if you know how to shop.

ooh we bring back lots of nosh!
and they have a newish store on meah shearim street with a new type of art that I would bring back for a gift
also FYI for ppl buying silver it is more expensive in israel! (hazorfim and haddad) I was in the store in america nad saw the prices but I fugured im coming to israel I might as well get here but when we came here everything was double the price even though it was made here!! we asked them and they said israelis are used to paying more for silver so they charge more in israel=)
but I guess check your local prices before buying here in israel!

Most of the items you can already get here in the USA. But one thing I am dying for and wonder if they sell them still is the Fruit Leather that you buy by the inch rather then prepackaged.
