I have acne and am looking for a decent OTC face wash or cream. Anyone have any recommendations?

Cetaphil gentle cleanser for sensitive skin.... I've used this for over half of my life. Makes my face as happy as a cleanser can. I had VERY bad acne in my teens, and acne enough in my early 20s.

I second the Cetaphil! It's very gentle and non-comedogenic. I've been using it for a long while too, now. Good luck!

Once a week, give yourself a face-mask to soak up the extra oil. I know it sounds crazy, but if you have bad acne/oily skin, try the Queen Helene Mint Julep face mask--3.99. It can be found in the African American or Hispanic hair sections...

Good luck!

I have used the same face wash since I was about 16, so thats 8 years now. I love it. my husband now uses it and loves it. I am prone to light acne breakouts, however I am on the birth control pill and therefore have clear skin. anyways the face wash is Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. Highly recommended!!!

Aquaglycolic toner is the best. It really cleans out the pores and helps to clear up the acne. You can read about it here:

I've recommended it to alot of people and those who tried it were really happy with the results!

I did a lot of research on this. The Neutragina oil-free got the best reviews.

I was having a lot of breakouts until I tried Oil of Olay Daily Facials. They get my face really clean and don't leave a film, which I really don't like. I used to use some of the gentle cleansers mentioned above, but they didn't do it for me.
