I would like a navy or a brown knit skirt. Which would you think you'd get more use out of? I never wear these colors so it would really be a toss up. I usually go for black.
I have shoes that are tan/blush/nude, whatever you want to call it that would go with either.

I don't like knits (I find them unflattering) and I don't wear navy. So I say brown.

What's your complexion like? Warm toned skin (good with yellow gold, browns and ambers and golds and mossy greens) is often thought to be flattered by browns, and navy is a good fit for cool tones (good with white gold, pastels and jewel tones).

I love knits. I would go with the brown, because I happen to hate the color navy even though I look pretty good in it.(It reminds me of my school uniform...)

I forgot to tell you how I feel abt these colors.
I like the idea of navy bc I like to look elegant and classy as much as I can and I dont feel that brown does that for me.
Our school uniform was a black skirt so I dont have to worry abt that.
I think both are fine for my complexion.

I think navy looks older.

So get the navy! Either way, you can wear it with pretty much any top, except (according to purists) black.

I definitely go with brown. Matches so nicely with many colors.
And I agree with Ruchel about knits being unflattering.
Either way I am sure you will look great!!

Unless you wear a matching top, your complexion shouldn't matter much.
Both colors are versatile, but I'd go with brown, simply because its more different. Navy and black often look alike. OTOH, navy is more of a spring color, if that makes a difference to you.

Do you really have to limit yourself to one or the other? Is it a very expensive skirt ?
