At this point, I'm pumping just to keep up my milk supply.
Since more often than not, I don't even get a let down when I pump, is there any reason for me to keep on pumping?
Does the pumping help my milk supply even without letdown?

not sure what you mean. what letdown? does the milk come out or not?
how long are you pumping. if you only pump, then it slows your milk supply

I meant that I pump while I"m away from my baby to keep up my supply, not to use the milk, since I get so little anyway.
Otherwise, I nurse.
I usually don't get milk when I pump, so I want to know if the pumping itself works as stimulation to keep up my supply even if it's not enough stimulation to get the milk to come down.

oh.. sorry, don't know the answer, but I will recommend the avent hand pump, or medella motor pump. both work nicely for me.

Yes, keep pumping to keep up your supply, esp if you are gone for long periods of time. Try to pump at least ten minutes at each session.
