I have been lucky with belts at torrid since they usually have a big selection but haven't been there recently.

I'm not a fashion advisor or anything but IIRC, the popular deyah is that narrow belts looked better on narrow people, and wider belts look better on wider people. It's all a matter of proportion.

I agree with you, but I think it also depends on who. I had a plus size teacher in high school who wore things a smaller person would never dream of wearing tzniusly (think large or bold prints, wide belts, large jewelry, etc) and she always looked tznius, elegant, and put together because it was in proportion to her size. Just sayin.

ya I wear very wide belts and it covers up my bulge in my tummy area I think the skinny belt will hit in the middle sorta im jsut curious why would a wider belt be not tznus

and I think things like that really depend on each person and their proportions. what looks totally fine on one person can look really untznius on the other. and this is even when they are the same size, but different builds.
and something totally tznius that is worn the wrong way can be kinda slutty- depends on the wearer. I have seen two people simialr sizes wearing the same dress. one looks very tznius and one very not.
