We are considering Aliyah to Tzfat (at least as a starting place). Rent for a year (or possibly less) and look around to find where in Israel we would like to purchase a home. G-d willing.
Looking to connect with anyone who has experience with Tzfat. We only had a few days to look at neighborhoods and realized it wasn't enough time.
I've heard that jobs are the biggest issue. I can keep my job and work remotely. There is about a 50/50 chance my husband can work remote as well.

So this is a 9 yr old thread ... But wondering if all the above still holds true. We are Sephardi, American charedi-ish ... And raising a family of just boys so far... We believe in learning and having a trade but not necessarily going to college and getting an education in "social sciences" we are BT but I grew up with a BY education.
