Anyone heard of Dolphin Express, and do they have a good reputation?

We used them 4 years ago. Pretty good service on the American side, not as great on the Israeli side. Their office and port were right near me in NJ so they were easy to use plus the quote was cheaper than the other companies. We were satisfied mostly but I'm not sure I would recommend them over the other companies.

I agree, I wouldnt recommend them. We went with them because they quoted us a cheaper price. When we got to Israel they charged us an additional $2000!!! Then the movers didnt want to bring our stuff 1 flight up since there was no elevator!!!
Bad experience, wouldnt recommend.

oh and P.S. the reason I posted anonymously is because most shipping Co's in Israel are run by Georgian mafia, so I dont want to take any chances. =P

We used them last year. Good (great) service in US, not such amazing service on this side. But...I heard that there were horror stories from other companies, so our experience was pretty good.
If you are buying appliances in NY, they picked them up from the store and packed them for us and no extra charge. Plus they allocated some space in the warehouse for us, so I had lot's of heavy stuff (like a swingset) shipped there and they stored it for us.
Again, I have no idea if other companies do that.
The movers here were efficient and did everything fast.
