I usually click on: view posts since last visit (1,0000 LOL)
(go thru the list quickly)
Then - check who's online
next - who's in chat
and finally, sit down and read all (ok... most) of the newest posts, and reply if I'm in the mood....
How 'bout you???

I go to posts since last visit and then posts in last 24 hours b/c sometimes I will go on for a minute, not read all the posts but then they won't be considered new posts anymore.
the annoying this is when I get an error message when I do this too fast b/c of search flooding.
