I really want honest answers and votes.

Lately I've been getting pm's from a few posters asking me to stop sending them invitations to join the chat room.

It's s/thing I really like doing, I like havin company, and s/times if I don't invite, it's soo quiet and empty..

Maybe more ppl don't like them but don't want to tell me, please do, so it'll make my job easier, if I know that I dont have to type a certain name.

Gotta agree with Miriam,,,,, everyone knows that option of chat rooms, so they can join whenever they would like.........

If I can chat, I'll be sure to come in.

Sometimes I'm on a slow computer and checking the PM can take a little while, and then it's disappointing to see that the message was an invitation to chat which I don't have the time for at that time.

Now this can be very untrue..
I invite ppl and they ask me, how to join, or what it is... so not e/one knows.

actually. I didnt know about chat until the e-mail was sent to me ..and then I was like ooo! cool! thanks sevensenses!

the only problem I have with the invitations is that when I get them they make this "BUM BUM BUM!" trumpet noise and I get starteled and worry that the sound will wake dh up

I like getting them - sometimes I wouldn't necessarily go in but when I get a personal invitation, I like to stop by for a few minutes & usually it is interesting. Sometimes I don't have time and don't go in and other times I only get the PM much later and no one is there any more!

I almost always have my sound turned off, so I never see the invitation message until I happen to notice it - sometimes days later - sorry!

I guess I now assume you are always there, and if I have time, I pop in to chat. I don't think I have ever entered the chat room BECAUSE of the invitation, because as I said, I don't get them at the right time!

I think the invitations are really sweet - it's nice to be invited. I also have no sound on my computer, but I usually see a pm has popped up.

I really don't know why it would bother anyone to be invited - if I can't / don't want to go in at the time, I don't.

Hey, Seven.....

How're you doing these days? Haven't seen you in a while....
Lately, I've either got no time for chat, or when I try to log into chat I get this annoying message REPEATEDLY, "you must log into forum to join chat", or something like it.

Anyway, the invites don't particularly annoy me, except that I do not have this pop-up feature and my sound is always off. Turns out lotsa times you invite me when I'm not even on the computer. But when I'm on and have the time to chat I do check it out. Then again, the technical problems are a turn-off.
