somebody also just told me today that the babyliss is the best curling iron but be sure to get a ceramic one. She also told me that its best to spray heat-protecter spray before using the iron to protect the hair and also keep the curls in longer.

definitely use a spray heat before. I like Chi. Its expensive about $12 or $13 a bottle... but a bottle will last you a LONG while! I use the conair infinite 1 1/2 barrel. Thats what my sheitle lady recommended and I love it!

I was told by my shaitel machir conair (or other similar type) is good- but get the kind where you can adjust the temp- cause if the only options are high and low- low may be to high. and then you should only use low temps with the iron and hold it in place no more then 10 seconds.
