Please let me know if u went recently and where there was a minyan. I'm going next week and I dont want to travel 40 minutes to Bobover Mesivta Camp or any of the other camps that are pretty far from the resort.

how close and when? if it is the summer there are camps nearby, the scranton area is less than 1 hr away

There is a camp very close. I think its Dora Golding?!?! I am not sure near which resort its next to.

There is a minyan in one of the hotels somewhere in the Poconos. Don't remember any details, but will ask DH when he comes home (if I remember).

Btw, you shoudlld know that the food is worse than plane food so make sure to supplement.

yes, there is a camp near by, was not far at all, I think it was dora golding, not sure, do you want me to find out about it and how far?

Pocono Palace is the closest to Camp Dora Golding it's about 15 minutes away and an easy drive. We went last summer and dh davened at the camp. He davened at the waiter's minyan for shacharis and with the camp for mincha.
I called the office to get times the number is 570-223-0417.

There's a resort in the poconos that offers kosher. Bushkill inn, near bushkill falls. You can call to see if they have a minyan. (may be a far drive tho) The # is 8456089572. There's an ad on theyeshivaworld about it.

Very far.

You may as well stay at Pocono Palace which is in the same town (E. Stroudsburg) as Dora Golding & you can probably change your reservation b/c they are fine with switching within the 3 resorts.
