I read in the news today that you can store your babys teeth.
I have read in the past about storing your childs imbilacal cord.
Would you do this?
I guess it is allowed halachically.

The cord I heard of the teeth is something new

what can be done with the teeth I'm curious implant it when your mature ones fall out will look pretty out of place I think.

I think storing the baby's teeth is like bronzing a baby's shoe -- it's sentimental but no practical Ialue and a waste of money.
Also, who will guarantee you'll even be able to save all of them to get them preserved?
Umbilical cord might serve some purpose - especially if you donate it to a bank like kehilla cord, but teeth? Don't bother.
