neither my husband or I like cheese blintzes.
but we have fruit or veggie blintzes for supper (when we have them that is)
so between you two choices I would go for appitizer- def not dessert

I serve as appetizer for my Shavuos Milchig meal. I melt a little bit of strawberry sorbet and drizzle it on top, and add a dollop of sour cream. Yum!
