I'm not sure this is the right place for this but out of curiosity-what level of frumkeit are most people at here. I'm starting to feel like I don't belong...in my circles people don't allow boys and girls to mix EVER! People are makpid on tznius. Boys mostly wear black and white. What am I and what are others here? I'm pretty new here.

There are all types here, but actually I think your type is the majority.

Some people on this board are like you, and some aren't.

Really? From posts I was reading it seems like most people here watch tv, kids go to co-ed school, not so makpid on shomer negiah, etc.

Really? Not my impression at all! Certainly not for the co-ed schools or shomer negia, and I haven't counted who watches TV or doesn't.
But obviously, as individuals we're reading different threads and noticing different things.
Honestly, though, in many cases I have no idea how you'd get a real general impression, as people don't give all that level of detail except where it's specifically relevant, and sometimes what they do give might be misleading. (Eg, we don't have or want a television, but that's not going to stop me discussing programs I watched when I was younger, if someone brings them up.)

This post strikes me as VERY strange. I have not seen one post on imamother that talks about co-ed schools or shomer negiah.
Very, very, very strange post. Fellow imamothers, I would approach this one cautiously. Looks like someone trying to stir up some trouble.

It seems to me that this is a tamer version (without the emoticons) of the thread "Not everyone on Imamother is Charedi?".

Don't you all get bored by the abundance of threads on the topic? Sorry, I don't mean to bash, but here we all are, whether with or without heterim from our rabbonim, for what purpose? Some extra friendship, or support, or info. Not for halacha or hashkofo questions or even chinuch. Does everyone being nice to each other get too boring?

Just for argument's sake, boys wearing black and white does not determine their level of "frumkeit".

and my kids go to a co-ed school because that is all there is here (and the community cant afford 2 separate schools or even to separate all the classes) -but its a very yeshivish community, and the kids themselves separate by about first grade-in all but the classroom.

Is anyone else getting the feeling that there are WAY too many threads dealing with Chareidi vs. MO? Give it a rest. We're all Jewish, and what's more, we're all frum. Period. (And FTR, I'm like you, OP.)
