I was wondring if anyone had any ideas for a place to go away for a shabbos with a group of young couples that is not too far from the brooklyn and monsey areas and not too expensive either. We would brng our own food so need a place to eat and put up a hotplate/blech. thanks

Tomchei Shabbos of Pelham Parkway is doing Shabbos Parshas Ki Sisa (Presidents Day) at the CHilton Woodcliff Lake (click on this link to see more about this beautiful hotel.)

Fri lunch through Sunday brunch. Catering by Chap a Nosh
Spa - 20% off
Separate swimming - Friday, Motzai Shabbos & Sunday
Ice Skating 5 minutes away, they may have separate hours

Two people would be $312 each plus 24% for taxes and gratuities = $773.76
A group discount may be possible.
Please PM me if you're interested!

I spoke to Rabbi Fuchs, who runs it. He says he's done this program about 10 times & always gets a very nice crowd.

There is a beautiful serene place in Monticello NY called Pardes Paradise. 2 Houses with 7 bdrms, and 18 acres of fields and wooded trails. I was there and really enjoyed it. In the summer there is also a private heated pool.
