I loved it. DS loved it. It wasn't scary or lonely. At the end, his supper was waiting for him. And it was still warm.

I *hated* The Giving Tree, which should have been subtiled *Obnoxious Brat Kid Abuses His Mother, and She Takes it From Him* but DS loved it.
