I am currently at a crossroads in my "career".

I work as an office manager at a non-profit organization. an opportunity has come up for me to switch over to the "for-profit" world but I'm not sure what the going rate of a salary is for an office manager in the business world.

can anyone tell me, if you are in this position, how much do you make? benefits? etc.

thank you!

OP here:
I forgot to add that I do have alot of experience - almost 10 years in this type of work.
I'm quite organized and efficient and can really do a good job.

I just dont want to sell myself short.
thanks.

Our office manager here in France, with a 8 years experience when she joined the company, earns 1800 euros a month. That's around 2400$. I work for an american company.

Google it. It also depends on field, as well as how many employees have worked under you, and how many will potentially work under you. Also how large the company is, and if it is more 'corporate' or 'ma and pa' run..
You can go to salary.com (or google something else) to get a rough idea...
Gluck, and hatzlacha with your potential new job!
