my son has been begging for the last 2 years to go to
sleep away camp. Almost his whole class is going.
We can't afford it it is so expensive, I don't know how people
can afford it. I really want him to go I remember my camp experience
and I loved it. I don't know what to do

You can save for it all year. You can win a Chinese Auction.
You can get a job and camp and hpefully he will go free or reduced price.

there re some scholarships through the uja I thnk. google camp scholarshps. if you live in ny there are also some through the state I think.

What does he normally do in the summer? Many people will send to sleep-away camp for only one month and then the other month the child gets a job (usually in another camp) or stays home.
